Legal Support Services

Enforcement hearings, oral examinations and urgent court documentation lodgement.

Enforcement Hearing Attendance

Under the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999 (QLD), an experienced SEQ Process ‘Field Agent’ specialises in all aspects of the Enforcement Hearing Process, including the service of Enforcement Hearing Summonses; oral examinations of the Enforcement Debtor; and, if required, assistance in compiling the report for the creditor.

During the hearing the debtor is examined under oath about their employment, income, bank accounts, real and personal property, vehicles, shareholdings, ongoing financial commitments and any recent disposal of assets. Our Field Agent records the responses, requests supporting documents where the debtor cannot answer with certainty, and compiles a written report that the creditor can use to choose the most appropriate enforcement step, whether that is a redirection of earnings or a warrant for seizure and sale of property.

Filing Court Documentation

If you are not able to file your documents electronically, an SEQ Process Field Agent can attend the appropriate court with the original documents and lodge them for you; and where appropriate, once filed, we will return them to you. If your documents require ‘urgent’ service, SEQ Process Servers can effect this for you on the same day in many cases.
